Come join Intuit’s QuickBooks Online Payroll team!  We are looking for an exceptional product manager to help define our roadmap and drive implementation of features that solve problems faced by small business employers. With our mission of “Turning one person’s dream into a thriving team”, we want to be the leader in human capital management for companies with 1 to 100 workers.  

 

As part of the Online Payroll team, you will help us raise the bar on what payroll software can do - looking beyond the basics of calculating paychecks and paying taxes, to solving problems employers face as they scale and manage their workforce. On this team you’ll be challenged to think bolder, move faster, and have a big impact. We are aiming to double our subscriber base in the next 3 years and your work will be critical to achieving that goal.

 

We are seeking an exceptional Senior/Principal Product Manager who thrives on changing the status quo and is laser-focused on making every experience simple, easy, and intuitive for our customers. This Product Manager will lead a large mission based team of product managers, developers and designers to deliver game changing improvements to our setup and onboarding flows that directly impact conversion and revenue for the business.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with senior leadership to create the strategy to bring innovative payroll experiences  to market that drive user growth
  • Lead a large mission based team to develop product vision, strategy, roadmap, and requirements to deliver an awesome setup and onboarding experience for our payroll customers
  • Drive high user growth through lean testing and experimentation
  • Lead exciting innovations in the area of machine learning and data automation
  • Collaborate work across multiple scrum teams including top engineers, designers, marketers, and support agents to design and ship product improvements that are all working towards a single success metric for your mission
  • Define and analyze key performance metrics to support and inform product decisions for the future of payroll on boarding
  • Ruthlessly prioritize your team’s backlog to ensure your team is making maximum customer impact
  • Serve as the domain expert for your product and continually strive to improve the experience
  • Identify, design, experiment and iterate on initiatives leveraging usability testing, behavioral customer data, and market research
  • Work together with other QuickBooks ecosystem partners (e.g., Capital, Payments, Sales tax, Time Tracking, and Accounting, etc.) to build end-to-end delightful experiences for the customer

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years designing and delivering world-class products in a product management role
  • Proven track record of setting product vision and translating it into a product impact with excellent end to end execution
  • Proven track record of results that impact revenue directly
  • Experience designing simple and intuitive web and mobile user interfaces
  • Insanely curious & data-driven
  • Passion for solving BIG customer problems
  • Excels in leading cross functional teams
  • Develops and defends strong points of view with data analytics
  • Payroll, tax, compliance or accounting experience a plus
  • BS or BA required; MBA or MS a plus
