You will need to employ an entrepreneurial mindset and leverage a broad array of analytical, interpersonal and leadership skills to identify, prioritize, and execute new opportunities to accelerate growth and revolutionize the marketplace.  To be successful, you must be able to quickly establish rapport, credibility, and trust throughout the organization at all levels and be viewed as a team player.


  • Define innovative solutions for Australia customer needs, using design thinking methodologies and rapid experimentation; be hands-on with the product and hold a high bar for quality
  • Deeply understand customers and their pain points through methods such as “follow-me-to-the-office” visits and in-depth interviews
  • Know our competitors, their offerings and how our solutions can solve customer needs in significantly better ways
  • Drive customer empathy, product expertise and competitive awareness throughout the Australia team and evangelize the needs of the Australia market to co-workers across the globe
  • Own the product lifecycle from requirements gathering through production and release, working closely with the Australia development team in the Product Owner role.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in Australia, India and the United States.


  • 3-5 years in a Product Management role designing and delivering world-class solutions that drive customer delight and business growth
  • Experience working on web (SaaS) and mobile offerings that target small businesses or consumers; experience in the accounting/payroll/payments space a plus
  • Passionate about unearthing customer insights and championing the voice of the customer
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions, locations and cultures to deliver a delightful end-to-end customer experience
  • Outstanding analytical skills, demonstrated by roadmaps and recommendations, backed by solid business cases
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills – both oral and written and a track record of gaining the confidence senior management
  • Hands-on, hard-working, scrappy and even-keeled - energized rather than frustrated by hard problems and surprises
  • Ability to travel ~10% – within country to visit customers and globally to collaborate with your peers and partners
  • Technical degree or MBA a plus
