Overview

Come join the US Accountant Sales Team supporting the Small Business & Self-Employed Group (SBSEG) as a QuickBooks Payroll and Time Tracking Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth. You will engage with accountants and small businesses discussing their goals, challenges they face aligning those with Intuit’s time tracking and other ecosystem offerings. Measures of success include welcoming our newest customers and ensuring they have a successful start and achieving revenue quota. In this role, you will be making 100% outbound calls to a targeted group of prospects.

 

US Accountant Sales is a multi-channel organization focused on building customer confidence by providing Small Business expertise in every interaction. Our Sales Consultants are expected to understand how Small Businesses work, know the Intuit ecosystem of products, and tailor solutions to specific customer needs uncovered in the sales conversation.  Across all of our channels and workgroups, Accountant Sales is responsible for acquiring new users and growing our existing customers’ usage of the Intuit ecosystem of products. 

Responsibilities

  • Respond to prospect inquiries
  • Prospect assigned target segment 
  • Conduct product demos for qualified prospects
  • Keeping up to date on new features or enhancements to our product and services
  • Know the competitors intimately
  • Sustain a high level of sales activity 
  • Role model Challenger Sales behaviors while selling

Teach their prospects-They focus the sales conversation not on features and benefits

but on insight, bringing a unique (and typically provocative) perspective on the

prospect’s business. They come to the table with new ideas for their prospects that can make money or save money; often opportunities the prospect hadn't realized even existed.

 

Tailor their sales message to the prospect- They have a finely tuned sense of

individual prospect objectives and value drivers and use this knowledge to effectively

position their sales pitch to different types of stakeholders.

 

Take control of the sale- While not aggressive, they are certainly assertive. They are

comfortable with constructive tension and are unlikely to acquiesce to every prospect demand. When necessary, they can press prospects not just in terms of their thinking but around things like pricing.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of quota carrying sales experience
  • Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions
  • Organization skills such as great time mgmt./ prioritization, multi-tasking
  • Expert sales pipeline management skills
  • Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles
  • Strong business acumen, written and verbal communications skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
