In your role as the Sales Manager, your team will be responsible for consulting with small businesses so they know, use, love and recommend Intuit solutions.  Your role will be to coach and develop sales representatives to prepare them for ongoing career growth on the US Sales Team. You’ll help recruit the talent of the future and work closely with the sales leaders across the business to ensure we are building the right talent and skills for our future needs. You will develop personalized development plans that align with both the goals of the business and the employee.

Responsibilities

  • Build and coach team and partner with marketing, training and analytics to focus the team on the right priorities and campaigns
  • Present to sales and senior leaders on your talent development progress
  • Develop strong relationships at all levels within the business to ensure we are aligned on strategic priorities, employee development and customer obsession
  • Communicate and understand widely available data such as historical sales trends, category / market growth, analysis of accounts and general market information
  • Actively use metrics to monitor performance and understand results and drivers, while developing contingency plans to address shortfalls and taking full accountability for your team
  • Innovate in the business model as appropriate, incorporating best practices from other companies and from within Intuit
  • Manages for both the short term and long term priorities

 

Qualifications

  • Proven 2-5 years of sales(software+) experience with accountants and/or SMB’s
  • The ability to drive a rigorous sales process using customer insights and manage a clean opportunity pipeline
  • Demonstrated collaborative skills with ability to influence and work cross-functionally
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Accounting industry experience a strong plus
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce.com
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (work-related experience also considered)
  • Experience in inbound and outbound sales
