Software engineering RDP overview

Introducing the brand new software engineering RDP! With the huge success of our RDP associates in the Product Management & Marketing and Finance & Operations tracks, we have decided to start a brand new RDP track for software engineers. If you're selected to join our newest RDP track, you will have the unique opportunity to shape and guide the future of this program.

We are seeking top talent from universities across the country. RDP is a full-time, 26-month program that includes an intensive core curriculum and a series of challenging rotational assignments that develop key functional and leadership skills.

RDP begins with an intensive seven-week training program. As an RDP associate, you will learn about Intuit inside and out: our products, customers, people, strategies and values. You'll engage in an exciting, hands-on experience and learn how to effectively solve important small business and consumer problems.

Following the training program, you'll complete four six-month rotational assignments, gaining exposure to a breadth of business units and to a variety of functions.

Software engineering RDP associates may select from a variety of rotational assignments such as:

Software development - Design solutions for our business. Own and implement features while promoting technical innovations. Use your knowledge of current and emerging technologies and apply innovative thinking to help these teams create successful new offerings.

Quality engineering and operations - Test our products to ensure the highest quality by creating automated API test suites, developing test strategies and solutions and leveraging engineering technical skills. Help ensure our products/services are developed with high quality and robustness that enable fast release cycles. Manage the deployment process and review product requirements and architecture to understand and implement operational standards and capabilities.

Product management - Help create product offerings and facilitate teams through in-depth understanding of customer needs, Intuit's business and current technologies.

Experience design - Influence product requirements with customer research in usability sessions and translate requirements into positive customer experiences
