Our Total Rewards program is more than just a paycheck. It includes compensation and recognition programs designed to reward your performance, tools to help you plan your financial future, and benefits and services for your whole family.

Pay and recognition

Our pay and recognition plans offer cash and other nice rewards.

Base salary
We offer competitive salaries to attract, retain and motivate you. We also believe in rewarding you for excellent performance. Our merit-based system ties salary increases and promotion opportunities to the results you deliver that help Intuit grow.

Incentive pay
You deserve rewards for exceptional performance, so we offer bonus and incentive programs at all levels of the organization. They include sales commissions, support and customer service incentives and other programs.

Spotlight recognition
Everyone appreciates being appreciated. To thank you for a job well done, our peer recognition tool allows us to recognize each other with cash and other awards. And if you stick around a while, we'll celebrate your milestone employment anniversaries with service awards.

Building financial security

Planning for tomorrow is important. That's why we offer several tools and programs to help you plan your financial future.

Retirement Program (RRSP)
For regular employees, Intuit Canada will match 150% of the first $1000 contribution and 75% of your remaining RRSP contribution up to $5000 dollars per calendar year (maximum contribution needed is $5666.67). RRSP payments can be made via payroll deduction, lump sum payments or a combination of the two.

Employee stock purchase plan (ESPP)
If you're eligible, we offer you the opportunity to participate in our Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP). You can buy Intuit common stock at 85% of market value. Purchase periods run for three months, four times a year. Open enrollment is held in February, May, August and November. You can enroll and direct up to 10% of your taxable income (including commissions) into the plan through payroll deductions.

Stock units
You will receive a mixture of stock units and stock options. A stock unit is equal to one share of Intuit stock. Once a stock unit vests, it converts to one share of Intuit stock and is provided to you with no purchase necessary. Your stock unit grant is 50% vested after two years and 100% vested after three years of employment at Intuit.

Stock options
We give you the opportunity to share in the company's success by offering stock options. That means you will have the right to buy stock in the company at a specified price once the options vest. Stock options vest over three years, and you're eligible to receive them if you're a regular employee working 20 hours a week or more.

Benefits, wellness and safety nets

Your family's health, wellness and security are a top priority. We offer excellent healthcare benefits plans, insurance and more.

 Health coverage
Through the Sun Life Extended Health Plan, Intuit pays for your medical care. This includes medical services, prescription drugs, hospital stays, eye exams, dental care and more.

Disability
To help protect your income during times when you can't work, we provide short and long-term disability insurance.

Life insurance
Our competitive coverage provides a base amount of life insurance equal to two times your base salary, to a max of $500,000. We also provide dependent life coverage at $10,000 for a spouse and $5,000 for a child. You can also purchase additional life insurance for yourself, your spouse and child. In addition, we provide Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) and Optional Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance.

Employee and family assistance program
Our partner, Shepell-fgi, provides confidential professional assistance to you and your family in dealing with personal difficulties.

Time off and employee services

You've got a busy life outside of work, too. To help you balance it all, we offer several great programs, including time off, fitness incentives and tons of on-site services.

Vacation and time off
Everyone needs a little time away. Regular, seasonal and intern employees receive paid vacation time. Vacation is accrued based on your years of service with Intuit. You also receive paid holidays.

Leaves of absence include bereavement, jury duty, witness duty, maternity, parental, paternity, compassionate care and personal leave, as well as sick days.

Volunteer time off
Wish you had more time to volunteer in your community? Now you can. If eligible, we give you 32 hours of volunteer time off per calendar year. That's four whole days a year you can take off work on approved projects during regular work hours. We also have an amazing We Care and Give Back program that offers numerous opportunities to volunteer.

Fitness incentive
We encourage to you take time out for your own health and wellness. To our employees who work 20 hours or more per week, we offer a $650 fitness incentive reimbursement per fiscal year to help offset the cost of your gym membership or fitness class fees, such as yoga or martial arts.

Tuition assistance
Thinking of continuing your education? That's great! We can help you with those costs. If you're attending an accredited school, you may qualify for assistance with books, tuition and lab fees. We'll reimburse you up to $5,000 per year for job- or career-related courses.

Product discounts
Now you can enjoy our great products at a discount. You'll receive substantial discounts on Intuit products, as well as selected software products from other vendors.

Adoption assistance
Adopting a child is a wonderful experience. To help offset the cost of adoption, we'll reimburse you up to $4,500 (net) per adoption. All regular employees who work 20 hours or more per week are eligible.

Onsite services
We offer many great employee services that vary by location, such as fitness centers and onsite massage and acupuncture. Talk to your recruiter to find out all the employee services offered at your location.
